Fluid Painter 1.2 Update!

Greetings! A new update for Fluid Painter is now available! This update introduces a new scaling parameter, reworked geometry node, and more. Check out the complete list below!

NOTE: If you are installing this update over a previous version, please remember to restart Blender after the installation to avoid any potential issues.

Fluid Scale

Fluids now support scaling! Yes, you can scale your fluid up to... infinity. The new scaling parameters allow you to paint fluids on any object of any size! The scale of the fluid can be chosen right before adding new fluid (1) or after, from the Fluid Edit Panel (2). The Fluid Thickness parameter can still be used to change the density of the fluid while keeping the detail, thanks to an automatic subdivision function.

Improved Geometry Node

The Geometry Node has been reworked to create smoother fluids, moreover when using high thickness values.

Improved Fluid Update Feature

To ensure compatibility and access to new features, older fluids can be easily updated using the improved "Update Fluid" feature. Two flags allow you to choose what to update. If nothing is selected, the old fluid will remain editable with the new Fluid Painter version while retaining the original Geometry Node and Materials settings.

Convert Curve to Fluid

A brand-new feature now allows converting any curve into a fluid! Simply select the curve, hit the button, and boom! No explosions guaranteed, of course!

NOTE: Currently, the curve is converted to a Default Fluid.

Fluid Painter 1.1 Update!

Exciting news! Fluid Painter has been upgraded to version 1.1, now a full-fledged add-on. No more hassle with manual installations or object assignments. Simply install the add-on and effortlessly add fluids using the new panel or asset browser. The update brings additional features like automatic assignment of meshes to Fluid+ presets and easy access to fluid properties. Don't wait, install Fluid Painter 1.1 now!
This update also includes fixes for the presets, ensuring a smoother experience overall.

2 - Fluid Add: The Fluid Add Panel provides the option to select fluids from various categories and add them to the scene. When selected, meshes are automatically designated as drawing objects for the Fluid+ presets.

3 - Fluid Editing: With the Fluid Editing panel, you can easily start or stop drawing, as well as adjust all fluid properties. It also offers specific features for the Fluid+ presets.
